Longer lasting freshness
Always position your blossoms away from direct heat, sunlight, draughts, cooling vents, directly under ceiling fans or on top of electrical appliances, e.g. TV, microwave etc. Flowers will dehydrate.
Some flowers last longer than others. Removal of any flower / leaf which appear lethargic will assist in your flowers lasting and looking fresher. Remove any leaves that will sit in water.
Cutting the flower stems (on an angle) every few days and refreshing the water will help with keeping your flowers fresh longer.
For flower arrangements in a box/ ceramic, top up water daily to ensure foam doesn’t dry. Just enough so there is no overflow.
